| GEN-SNiP - Featured Project |

The major ongoing project is the development and maintenance of an SNP extractor tool named GEN-SNiP. The main aim of the tool is to find out SNPs in a set of given mitochondrial DNA sequences against the standard, revised Cambridge Reference Sequence (rCRS). There are also options for finding out the SNPs against non-standard reference sequences. The agreement with Argus Bioscience also includes design and development of a mitochondrial DNA database.

Se2Si- Sequence to Signal Converter: This tool generates digital signal corresponding to a bio-sequence. The various properties like hydrophobicity, EIIP, water-oil ratio etc are used to map bio-sequences to digital sequences.
